The Amelia Island Plantation Community Association is seeking qualified persons for multiple full time and part time openings within the Security and Public Safety Department. Security personnel are responsible for the protection of life and property within the 1350 acre private gated community located on Amelia Island. You will be responsible for detecting any suspicious behavior and preventing vandalism, thefts or other criminal behavior. Responsibilities Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence. Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people on to the property. Security entry points to community property. Check surveillance cameras periodically to identify potential disruptions or unlawful acts. Respond to alarm calls and assess need for Law Enforcement response. Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences. Skills Familiarity with report writing. Excellent observation skills. Excellent customer service abilities. Annual raises and bonuses based on evaluated merit. 401 K matching up to 5% for full-time employees. PTO (increase with time of service) for full-time employees. Medical, dental, eye, short and long term disability available for full-time employees. Overtime available at 1.5-hour rate compensation, upon completion of training. Compensation and Benefits

Hourly Rates of Pay –

1st shift (7:40 pm- 3:40 pm) $19.00 per hour, $39, 520 annually based on 40 hour work week.

2nd shift (3:40 pm-11:40 pm) $19.00 per hour, $39,520 annually based on 40 hour work week.

3rd shift (11:40 pm-0740am) $19.00 per hour, $39, 520 annually based on 40 hour work week.

Annual raises and bonuses based on evaluated merit.
