Optimize transportation routes and carrier management to reduce costs and improve delivery times. Negotiate contracts and build strong relationships with suppliers and logistics partners. Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational efficiency. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of supply chain professionals. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational effectiveness and reduce waste. Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, production, and sales, to ensure seamless operations. Manage the operational budget and control costs effectively. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in logistics and supply chain management. Proven experience in managing warehouse operations, transportation, and inventory. Strong understanding of supply chain planning, forecasting, and optimization techniques. Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and achieve cost savings. Proficiency in supply chain management software and ERP systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Relevant professional certifications (e.g., APICS) are a plus.
