Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $27.45 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon02:00 PM - 10:00 PMTue02:00 PM - 10:00 PMWed02:00 PM - 10:00 PMThur02:00 PM - 10:00 PMFri02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting activity and communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, controlled areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions. Monitor access points and verify credentials, badges, and/or vehicle authorizations in accordance with site protocols for restricted and sensitive areas. Support incident response by reporting hazards, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior, and assist with evacuations, medical calls, and other security-related concerns when appropriate. Minimum Requirements: An armed guard card or license is required. An active DoD Secret Clearance is required. Pepper spray certification is preferred. Handcuffing certification is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
