A growing organisation in Mossel Bay, Western Cape is seeking a HR Manager to manage the full spectrum of HR functions. You will handle recruitment and selection, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and labour legislation compliance. The successful candidate will shape company culture and support business objectives through effective people management. Responsibilities Administer employee benefits including medical aid, pension funds, group life assurance, and wellness programmes. Coordinate onboarding and induction of new employees, ensuring documentation is complete and integration is smooth. Maintain and update the HR information system and employee files, ensuring records are accurate and compliant with data protection. Support organisational change initiatives including restructuring, succession planning, and culture transformation programmes. Prepare and submit statutory reports including Employment Equity Reports, Skills Development Levy claims, and Workplace Skills Plans. Coordinate training and development activities including identifying needs, sourcing providers, and evaluating effectiveness. Provide advice to line managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation for fair application. Requirements A proactive and solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative HR team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting purposes. A minimum of two to five years of progressive experience in a generalist or specialist HR role within an organisation. Experience with payroll processing and payroll software such as Sage 300 People, VIP Payroll, or an equivalent system. For recruitment roles, proven ability to source candidates using various methods and experience with applicant tracking systems. Thorough knowledge of South African labour legislation including the LRA, BCEA, and Employment Equity Act. A diploma or degree in human resource management, industrial psychology, or a related field from a recognised institution. Qualifications National Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management
