Metals are sold either as-is or cut to made-to-measure sizes using plasma machines, water jets, lasers or saws. Jacquet applications cover many industrial sectors such as the water, environment, energy, mechanical and forged metal construction, chemical and agri-food, gas processing and storage, pharmaceutical and cosmetic sectors. We have four strategically placed locations within the US including Pennsylvania, California, Texas, and Wisconsin with many more globally. We are currently seeking a General Laborer (2nd Shift) at our Limerick, PA facility. The 2nd shift hours are Monday-Friday, 2pm-10:30pm. Description: The General Laborer is responsible for a wide variety of tasks to support the service center operations. Responsibilities: Material handling (loading and unloading machines, pulling orders, storing rems)Marking parts according to customer order specificationsGrinding slag from finished partsAssisting with general maintenance of machines and facilityLoading and unloading trucksProcessing and weighing scrap materialAssist with inventory accuracy, and locating inventoryMeasuring and inspecting parts using tape measure and calipersFilling out inspection formsPerform other reasonable tasks as requested by the Operations Manager or the floor supervisor.Requirements: Minimum 18 yearsHigh School Diploma or EquivalentAbility to read and write EnglishAbility to stand, sit, bend, stoop, and reachAbility to lift 50 lbs.Other Skills: Attention to detailTeam playerSafety orientedExperience: Previous warehouse and material handling experienceMechanical knowledge or background a plusPrior Experience operating a forklift - or willing to be trainedPhysical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to move, position oneself, ascend/descend and prepare and operate machinery and tools. Employee will need to communicate in loud noise environments and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. Must be able to activate hand and foot controls for equipment operation and tolerate changes in temperate. Must be able to wear safety glasses, steel toed shoes, hearing protection and any other necessary PPE. Pay Range: $18 - $20 per hour depending upon experience Requirements:
