As a Security Officer - Badge Control in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon11:00 PM - 07:00 AMTue11:00 PM - 07:00 AMWed11:00 PM - 07:00 AMThur11:00 PM - 07:00 AMFri11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Monitor entry and exit points at a residential location, verify visitor and/or vendor authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access through consistent security-related screening practices. Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to property management and/or emergency personnel as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols around residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter access points, noting unusual activity and reporting security-related concerns. Maintain accurate visitor logs, access records, and incident documentation, and support residential community rules through professional, courteous interactions. Minimum Requirements: Access control and badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. A guard card and/or license is preferred. CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
