The role entails ensuring the safety of our hospital premises and staff by implementing and overseeing fire safety and security measures. Responsibilities: Conduct regular fire safety inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.Monitor security systems, including CCTV cameras and alarms, to prevent unauthorized access and detect security breaches.Respond promptly to emergency situations such as fires, medical emergencies, or security incidents.Develop and implement fire safety and security policies and procedures to minimize risks and ensure a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff.Provide training to hospital staff on fire safety and security protocols, including evacuation procedures and emergency response measures.Collaborate with local authorities and emergency services to coordinate response efforts in the event of an emergency.Investigate security incidents and fire-related incidents, and prepare incident reports as necessary.Maintain records of fire safety and security activities, including inspections, training sessions, and incident reports. Requirements: Degree or Diploma from a recognized institute in fire safety, security management, or a related field.Minimum 5 years of experience in a hospital or healthcare setting, preferably in a similar role.Strong knowledge of fire safety regulations, security procedures, and emergency response protocols.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Certification in fire safety or security management is desirable.
