What you’ll do as a Security Guard You’ll be entrusted to: Act as a first line of defence in support of the TCS site missionCarry out foot and vehicle patrols, escort duties, and vehicle and bag searchesOperate security systems including CCTV, intrusion detection systems and entry controlIssue and receive keys and site passes, maintaining accurate recordsComplete reports and maintain the Daily Occurrence LogWork closely with colleagues and external agencies to uphold site security Does this sound like you? You’ll be a great fit for this role if you have: A valid Security Industry Authority (SIA) licenceCurrent SC Security Clearance and the ability to meet US clearance requirementsExperience working in a secure or government environmentStrong communication skills and a calm, professional approachA full Manual UK driving licence and willingness to drive company vehicles This role requires Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) process, which involves verifying your identity, employment history, nationality, and criminal record to meet government security standards. In addition, the role requires you to obtain formal Security Clearance (SC), which includes more detailed background checks on employment, criminal record, and financial history to ensure suitability for working in secure environments. Please note that UK residency requirements may apply for certain levels of clearance. You will also complete an Occupational Health Questionnaire so we can identify and provide any support you may need to undertake the role effectively.
