Job Description As a Security Officer Badge Verification in OMAHA, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.56 / Hour Job Schedule DayTime Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. Control access at entry and exit points by verifying credentials, processing visitors and deliveries, and documenting arrivals and departures according to site protocols. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and/or emergency services when needed. Monitor vehicle and pedestrian traffic entering and leaving the location, helping to deter unauthorized access and supporting orderly flow at gates, docks, and other controlled areas. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, noting unusual activity, access concerns, and/or maintenance issues and reporting them through appropriate channels. Minimum Requirements Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
