KWV a renowned South African brand and industry leader in the production of world-class wines, and other spirits a vacancy for a Team Leader Sales, based on the Garden Route. Reporting to: Divisional Manager: SouthDepartment: SA SalesDivision: Commercial Purpose: Overseeing daily operations in the sales department for the region. Manage and coordinate a group of KWV Business Development Representatives by providing leadership, direction and guidance. This also includes hiring and training of sales staff, relaying information from senior management to sales teams about sales targets in order to ensure the following: Volume & Value growthMaximizing ProfitabilityBrand awarenessOperational efficiencyDelivering Brilliant Execution Minimum Requirements: Grade 12 and relevant tertiary qualification in either Sales, Business Management or Marketing5 Years relevant experience in sales or customer marketing within a FMCG environment5 Years' experience in the liquor Industry, specifically in the Off Trade and Main Market will be advantageous.Excellent negotiating, analytical, problem-solving, planning, organizing and communication skills.Strong commercial and financial acumenFrequent business travel and possible sleep over within the area.IT literacyValid driver's license and own vehicle and willing to travel within the region. Skills Required: Verbal and written communication skills in EnglishLeadership as well as inter-personal skillsCustomer service orientationResults drivenThe ability to set the business direction for the region and inspire and lead the team to achieve the objectivesAbility to coach, mentor and guide sales staffPeople management skillsAbility to work under pressure and achieve results within set deadlines. Job Summary: Planning of monthly sales targets as per budget, broken down by area, Business Development Representative, trade channel and customer Manage and build relationships with 3rd party merchandising business partnersForecast depot stock requirements weekly Trade visits and completion of Accompaniment reportsCoaching of sales staffOverseeing local and regional sales, promotions and campaignsPlanning and directing the hiring and training of new appointments within the teamPreparing sales budgets ,projections and approving expendituresDeveloping and maintaining relationships with key clientsDefining and executing territory sales plans Preference will be given to suitably qualified candidates from underrepresented groups aligned with our Employment Equity Plan.
