VMD Corp has an upcoming need for Full-Time Security Guard Supervisor with an active Security Guard Card. What you will do: Grow in a fulfilling career as a Security Guard Supervisor working alongside a team of aviation security professionals. You will use your outstanding customer service and critical-thinking skills while identifying and preventing unsafe objects from exiting the airport. Responsibilities specific to this role include, but are not limited to: Scheduling and rotating of other guardsEnsure that breaks and lunches are completed in a timely mannerConduct shift briefings as neededConduct thorough and efficient screening of airport employees entering restricted areas. Verify the identity and credentials of employees using established procedures. Operate screening equipment, such as metal detectors to detect prohibited items. Enforce security regulations and policies in a professional and courteous manner. Monitor employee behavior and report any suspicious activities or violations. Collaborate with airport authorities and law enforcement to address security concerns or incidents. Provide clear and concise instructions to employees regarding the screening process. Conduct property searches as part of the overall security strategy. Respond promptly to alarms or alerts generated by screening equipment. Maintain accurate records of screening activities and incidents. What you will need: Be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. NationalHave an active Security Guard CardHold a valid driver's license issued by the State of MissouriAbility to work any shift including weekends and holidays (flexibility is key)Ability to pass SIDA Badge background checkAbility to interact professionally with the public with a focus on customer serviceProven experience in security, screening, or a related field is preferredExcellent observational and problem-solving skillsThe ability to communicate interaction with diverse individualsAbility to work in a dynamic environment and handle high-stress situations calmlyAttention to detail and commitment to following established security protocols What we offer: Competitive Compensation Paid training No prior experience is necessary.
