Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Intensive Care Nurse role based at Queen’s Multispeciality Hospital in Gurugram. The Intensive Care Nurse will provide continuous monitoring, assessment, and advanced nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU. Daily responsibilities include administering medications and infusions, managing ventilators and other life-support equipment, and promptly responding to clinical changes or emergencies. The role involves collaborating closely with intensivists, physicians, and multidisciplinary teams to implement care plans, maintain accurate clinical documentation, and support families with clear communication and education. The Intensive Care Nurse will also adhere to infection control protocols, participate in quality improvement initiatives, and contribute to a safe, respectful, and inclusive care environment. Qualifications Strong foundation in Nursing, with the ability to deliver safe, evidence-based patient care and maintain accurate clinical records.Proficiency in Critical Care Nursing, including monitoring vital parameters, managing life-support equipment, and caring for high-acuity patients.Understanding of Critical Care Medicine concepts to collaborate effectively with intensivists and support complex treatment plans.Experience or exposure to Emergency Nursing and acute care scenarios, including rapid assessment and response to clinical deterioration.Working knowledge of general Medicine principles relevant to ICU patients, including common comorbidities and medication management.Recognized nursing qualification (e.g., B.Sc. Nursing, GNM, or equivalent) with valid registration from the appropriate nursing council.Prior ICU or high-dependency unit (HDU) experience preferred; relevant critical care certifications are an advantage.Ability to work in shift-based schedules, strong communication and teamwork skills, and a commitment to ethical, patient-centered care.
