An exciting role opportunity has arisen in our retail team. We are looking for an experienced, talented retail manager to work at our Kilbirnie site. About the role The role will involve: Overseeing employees to ensure that company processes and procedures are being adhered to Monitoring site sales and stock taking, scrutinising weekly sales, purchases and margins data to identify trends and react accordingly. Recruitment of filling station personnel and training Managing filling station personnel working time, monitoring cost, workload and holidays Monitor site conditions and security requirements, implementing repairs and maintenance both planned and reactive Responsibility for action plan to ensure compliance and regulatory requirements are up to date. Ensuring site security is in place and fit for purpose Management of on site contractors undertaking repairs and maintenance works Continuous wet and dry stock monitoring Ensuring sound record keeping is maintained through BrightHR Remuneration and Benefits: £27k - £30k depending on experience Cycle to work Scheme Employee Assistance Programme Employee Discount Hub Discounted home heating fuel & electricity Pension About you You will: Have extensive retail management experience Be able to work on your own initiative Be able to build relationships with staff across the business Have a passion for driving standards in the store About us Highland Fuels have been supplying fuel to homes and businesses around Scotland since 1957. With 11 depots across the country, we provide home heating oil and fuel for the agricultural, commercial and marine sectors. In addition we operate 15 retail forecourts from Orkney to Ayrshire. Alongside our comprehensive range of fuels, including HVO, we provide AdBlue, lubricants, tanks and telemetry, fuel cards and EV chargers. We are also an employee owned trust which means that every employee has a stake in the business. We pride ourselves on providing excellent, friendly local service to our customers around the UK, and being a trusted fuelling partner across a wide range of industry sectors.
