Role and Responsibilities: As a Warehouse Worker, you will be a vital part of Lowe's supply chain operations, ensuring the accurate and efficient handling of incoming and outgoing goods. This role focuses mainly on the Receiving department, performing tasks such as picking, pulling, labeling, and stocking purchase orders. Success in this position requires strong attention to detail, commitment to safety protocols, and safe operation of equipment. Operate power equipment, including forklifts, to unload shipments and place products in designated storage areas.Receive purchase orders with accuracy, checking for damage and confirming details against invoices or packing slips.Pick items from warehouse shelves based on item number, size, color, and quantity.Pack and stage products for delivery.Verify the accuracy of orders prepared by other team members.Meet or exceed productivity goals by completing tasks efficiently and correctly.Assist with other warehouse operations such as labeling, shipping, pulling, and helping with deliveries.Required Skills and Experience: High school diploma, GED, or completion of trade school.1-2 years of experience in warehouse or distribution center operations.Ability to move throughout the facility, lift up to 40 pounds, and operate power equipment.Strong commitment to workplace safety and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).Flexibility to work in varying conditions, including extreme temperatures and high noise levels.Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.Preferred Qualifications: Experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, or yard trucks.Proven ability to perform detail-focused tasks in a high-paced environment.Good spatial awareness for effective product placement and organization.Compensation and Benefits: Starting pay varies based on role, location, education, training, and experience.
