Corporate Security Officer

In this high-profile security officer role, you will ensure the security and safety of premises and people at a prestigious client site. An experienced Security Officer, with exceptional customer-focus, you will carry out a range of duties including: To be fully conversant with site emergency evacuations procedures. To maintain complete, concise, and accurate written accounts of all incidents occurring within the duty shift and undertake any necessary follow up action as required. Access control and ID verification where required. Monitor and answer fire emergency telephone. Any additional reasonable duties requested by operational management. Must be available to work shifts days and nights. To respond to pre-planned or significant events and to provide an initial first response to any such events. Identifying suspicious, criminal events and ensuring an effective guarding response. Patrol the site to prevent fire, flood, theft, and damage. Comply with GDPR and Data security requirements. Provide details of incidents to the Control Room for the purposes of incident reporting. Respond to first aid incidents. Support the security team with requests of personnel on offsite assignments. Be open to training in other roles within the operational security team, including the EMEA Security Control Centre (ESCC), Security Access Control & Contractor Access Control to provide resilience/cover for these roles This is a permanent role. Hours of work may vary but shifts are normally 12 hours duration covering days and nights working on a 6 on 3 off shift pattern. However, as part of a small team you will need to be reliable and flexible to support your colleagues. An SIA Door Supervision (DS) or Security Guarding (SG) license is essential. The following would also be useful, but are not essential: A First Aid at Work qualification An SIA CCTV (PSS) Licence Person Specific: Proven background in Security with an emphasis on Corporate Security. Excellent interpersonal & communication skills. Experience of issue and conflict resolution. Able to work under own initiative, making decisions to benefit ICTS and client. Deliver excellent customer service. Flexible in approach to daily duties and additional events when held on site. Competent IT Skills (Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint) Demonstrate the ability to think and act quickly in emergencies or under pressure. Maintain a high standard of personal presentation. Able to demonstrate an ability to work as part of a team. Excellent attitude towards learning & personal development plus highly receptiveness to advice & feedback. An understanding of equality, diversity, and inclusion.
