Role Overview We are seeking professional and highly dependable Security Officers to support operations across data center facilities. These sites are critical infrastructure environments supporting global enterprise customers, requiring the highest standards of physical security, access control, and customer service. The Security Officer will play a key role in protecting client assets, ensuring compliance with strict security protocols, and delivering professional front-of-house experience for customers, engineers, and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Manage and control access to the data center using access control systems, visitor management platforms, and security software. Verify and authorize access for customers, contractors, and internal teams in line with / security policies. Conduct internal and external patrols to ensure the integrity of the facility, including plant areas, server halls, and perimeter security. Monitor CCTV and alarm systems, responding proactively to incidents or breaches. Provide professional front-of-house support, including customer check-in, escorting, and audit compliance. Respond to incidents, emergencies, and escalations in line with site-specific procedures and SLAs. Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and compliance records (including audit trails) Support operational teams during maintenance activities, deliveries, and high-risk works. Work collaboratively with site operations, engineering teams, and client representatives. Skills & Experience Previous experience in data center, critical infrastructure, or corporate security environments highly desirable Understanding of access control, compliance, and audit requirements (e.g., ISO standards, customer audits) Strong customer service mindset with the ability to interact with enterprise clients professionally. Excellent diligence and situational awareness Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-security environment with strict procedures. Effective communication skills with the ability to escalate issues appropriately. Essential Requirements Valid SIA License (Door Supervisor or Security Guarding) Competent IT skills (Microsoft Office, access control systems, ticketing/logging tools) Ability to work 24/7 shift patterns (days and nights) Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to assess risk and respond quickly to incidents. Eligibility to work in high-security environments (background checks may apply) Desirable Experience Experience working in Data Centers or similar hyperscale / colocation data center environments. Knowledge of permit-to-work systems, remote hands processes, and customer access procedures Familiarity with health & safety protocols in critical environments
