Job Overview We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our premises, staff, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to loss prevention and the ability to respond effectively to incidents as they arise. Duties Monitor and patrol designated areas to ensure safety and security.Conduct regular inspections of the premises and report any suspicious activities or breaches of security.Operate surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to monitor activities within the facility.Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, ensuring appropriate action is taken.Provide first aid assistance when necessary and maintain first aid supplies.Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required and assist in investigations related to theft or other criminal activities.Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and any actions taken during shifts.Engage with staff and visitors in a courteous manner while enforcing security protocols.Experience Previous experience in security or loss prevention is preferred but not essential.Familiarity with surveillance systems and CCTV operation is advantageous.Certification in first aid or willingness to undergo training is desirable.Strong observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanour.Join our team as a Security Guard and play a vital role in ensuring the safety of our environment while developing your skills in loss prevention and emergency response.
