Mobile Patrol Officer

Sentinel, one of Alberta’s oldest security firms is seeking a highly-skilled, adaptable, and reliable individual who can help Sentinel in keeping its image of quality service to its patrons. In this position, you will be a key player in patrolling in a company-provided vehicle, various sites around the city. We normally run 8 to 10 hours shifts. You are expected to always deliver outstanding customer service to not only our patrons but also to any personnel you might encounter during your shifts. Sentinel has served the Alberta market for decades, providing optimum services to patrons in a large range of industries. We possess the experience and resources to deliver only the best service possible. This is why we are now looking for you. Sentinel is looking for mobile patrol personnel to secure various projects around the city. Security Guard Job Responsibilities: To maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees by properly patrolling and monitoring premises. Security Patrol General Duties: Protect life and property by patrolling; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment and maintains access control. Respond to alarm calls. Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures and reporting the crime to police. Completes clear and concise reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; reporting to supervisors and police as required. Crime prevention by visual deterrence. Maintains the organization's stability and reputation by complying with patrol requirements. Key control. Lock and unlocking sites. Follow site post orders in each patrol. Radio operations. Driving. Risk assessments Security Guard Skills and Qualifications: Surveillance Skills, Deals with Uncertainty, Judgment, Objectivity, Dependability, Emotional Control, Integrity, Safety Management, Professionalism, Reporting Skills, Team player, Communication skills, Good driving record, Licensed in security, reliable, security experience is an asset. etc. Only applicants who submitted the report, have an active FULL Class 5 or higher driver's license, and an active security license will be considered for the position.
