The Company is seeking an Executive Director, Head of Biologics IP to lead its in-house IP legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining a strong intellectual property portfolio to support the company's R&D, manufacturing, and commercialization efforts. This role requires a strategic partner and IP thought leader who can provide guidance on patent, regulatory data exclusivity, trademark, and other intellectual property issues. The Executive Director will also be involved in supporting corporate and business development, research collaborations, and will be expected to monitor patent trends and advocate for the company's interests in IP government and regulatory policy.Applicants must have a Juris Doctor from an accredited U.S. law school, be admitted to the USPTO and at least one state bar, and hold an advanced degree in biological sciences, with a Ph.D. preferred. A minimum of 15 years' of relevant experience in biopharmaceutical intellectual property practice, including at least 7 years' in-house experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, is required. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of global biopharmaceutical patent law, regulatory data protection, and best practices in major markets. Experience in the pharmaceutical industry and a strong understanding of drug discovery, development, manufacturing, and commercialization of various types of drugs are essential. The role demands a proven track record in patent portfolio development, the ability to collaborate effectively, and a high level of professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
