An armed response company in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga requires a Retail Security Guard to respond to alarm activations and emergency calls. You will conduct rapid response patrols, investigate suspicious activity, and liaise with law enforcement when necessary. A valid firearm competency certificate and advanced driving skills are essential. Responsibilities Assist with emergency procedures including fire evacuations, medical emergencies, and crisis situations according to established protocols. Supervise and coordinate a team of security officers, managing shift rosters and ensuring all posts are adequately staffed. Monitor CCTV camera feeds in real time from a control room, identifying and responding to any unusual or suspicious activity. Write detailed and accurate incident reports describing security events, observations, and actions taken for management review. Perform regular checks of security equipment including alarms, cameras, radios, and access control systems to ensure functionality.
