JOB SUMMARY:The Compensation Consultant will support the Compensation Team at Seacoast Bank, focused on designing, administering, communicating, reporting on and monitoring broad-based compensation programs across the bank which may include job levels/grades, pay structures, formulaic / annual incentive plans, merit/salary increases, reward/recognition programs and other compensation related initiatives. The Compensation Consultant will be an expert on broad-based compensation matters and in data, reporting and analytics, being able to use data/analytics to answer questions on compensation-related initiatives. Develop and implement compensation strategies to ensure competitiveness, appropriate connection between pay and performance, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Perform data analysis on all compensation-related topics such as market pricing/job grading of exempt and non-exempt roles, job leveling, design and administration of short-term incentive plans.Consult and partner with Human Resources Business Partners (HRBPs) and the business throughout the compensation lifecycle which includes job evaluation/analysis, merit program, incentive plan design, and other compensation related topics.Conduct job analysis, evaluation, salary administration and FLSA assessments to determine appropriate salary grades, ranges, and pricing based on internal and external equity.Present analysis to HR partners, managers and leaders through presentations and executive summaries.Complete survey submissions for annual and ad hoc salary surveys and utilizes results for salary planning, salary structures and job evaluations.Lead Compensation/HR related projects with cross-functional partners to drive change.Prepares and maintains job classifications and salary grades.Provide project management support for many compensation and incentive initiatives.Assists in the preparation of meeting materials for the Incentive Oversight Committee (IOC).Works to develop audits on employee compensation and position data and develop other ad hoc reports as needed.Respond to HR and LOB compensation analysis requests on an ad hoc basis.Adhere to Seacoast Bank’s Code of Conduct. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in HR, I/O Psychology, business administration, etc., or equivalent experienceMinimum of 5-7+ years in role in Compensation, HR, Incentive Plan, or Sales Performance, or other role with strong HR analytical focusFinancial Services / Banking experience is highly preferredExperience with UKG HR System is highly preferredKnowledge and understanding of the banking industry including regulatory compliance requirements surrounding incentive compensation and risk management is highly preferredMust possess strong analytical skills and have previous experience in data analytics, modeling, reporting, etc.Expert in Microsoft Excel (familiar with Power Query, PowerPivot, complex pivot tables, data filtering, lookups, formulas, etc.), Power BI (or similar), Word and PowerPoint.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to create associate/leader ready presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint/Word with the ability to clearly communicate complex topics and solutions in a simple, logical and impactful manner.Solid compensation and incentive functional knowledge and understanding of compensation processes and data, including experience creating and maintaining job classifications and salary bands.Familiarity with compensation, labor and employment laws.Ability to work with highly confidential information.Solid understanding of reporting toolsStrong communication, written and oral
