Security Officer

We are looking for Security Officers to join our teams across our sites in Warwick. You will be responsible for the protection of the site, it's assets, personnel and visitors. You will be experienced in securing premises and personnel by patrolling property. You will be confident to inspect buildings/perimeters and assure compliance to policy and procedure while also preventing losses or damage by reporting irregularities that may arise. The ideal candidate will inspire respect and authority as well as possess a high level of observation. The goal is to help the company in maintaining excellent working conditions by keeping our facilities safe and problem-free. Responsibilities Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish presenceMonitor and authorise entrance of vehicles or people in the propertyRemove wrongdoers or trespassers from the areaSecure all gates, exits, doors and windows after end of operationsInvestigate suspicious activityRespond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situationProvide assistance to people in needSubmit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrencesRequirements and skills Proven experience as security officer or guardKnowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safetyFamiliarity with report writingExcellent surveillance and observation skillsSIA Licence: SG, DS or CPValid Driving LicenceJob Type: Full-time Pay: £12.71 per hour Licence/Certification: SIA Licence (required)Driving Licence (required)Work Location: In person
