Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon07:00 AM - 03:00 PMTue07:00 AM - 03:00 PMWed07:00 AM - 03:00 PMThur07:00 AM - 03:00 PMFri07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, credential verification, and other security-related policies appropriate to a technology and media-focused location. Monitor entry and exit points, screen visitors, verify identification and/or authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access in accordance with post orders and property guidelines. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related events and communicating relevant information to site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate. Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter points, while observing for unusual activity, access control issues, and security-related concerns. Support front entrance and reception functions as assigned by assisting with visitor processing, directing foot traffic, maintaining professional presence, and following emergency response activities when needed. Minimum Requirements: A guard card or license is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
