Our client, a prominent financial services institution, is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant to join their team in **Pretoria, Gauteng, ZA**. This role is pivotal in shaping financial strategies and ensuring the fiscal health of the organization. You will be instrumental in providing critical insights through rigorous financial analysis and reporting. Key Responsibilities: Lead the development and execution of comprehensive financial planning and analysis (FP&A) processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning. Prepare and present detailed financial reports and performance analyses to senior management, highlighting key trends, variances, and business implications. Conduct in-depth analysis of financial data to identify opportunities for cost savings, revenue enhancement, and operational efficiency improvements. Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic decision-making, investment appraisals, and business case development. Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data by implementing robust internal controls and reconciliations. Collaborate with various departments to gather financial information and ensure alignment with organizational objectives. Stay current with accounting standards (IFRS), tax regulations, and industry best practices. Assist in the preparation of annual financial statements and statutory filings. Provide guidance and support to junior finance staff, fostering their professional development. Analyze the financial impact of proposed business initiatives and strategic projects. Qualifications and Experience: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) or equivalent international designation. Minimum of 3-5 years of post-qualification experience in financial accounting, auditing, or FP&A roles, preferably within the financial services sector. Strong understanding of financial reporting standards (IFRS) and corporate finance principles. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling techniques is essential. Experience with financial planning software (e.g., Hyperion, Anaplan) is a significant advantage. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Superior written and verbal communication abilities, with the capacity to explain complex financial information clearly. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet strict deadlines. Must be located in or willing to relocate to **Pretoria, Gauteng, ZA**, and available for full-time, in-office employment. A proactive approach to identifying financial risks and opportunities is highly valued.
