As a Technical Team Leader, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our aircrafts, while also leading and developing a team of passionate engineers. Join us and be a part of our journey towards excellence in the skies.\n\nLead and manage a team of engineers responsible for maintaining and repairing powerplant systems on British Airways aircrafts. Ensure that all powerplant maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with safety regulations and industry standards. Develop and implement procedures and processes for efficient and effective powerplant maintenance. Train and mentor team members to enhance their technical skills and knowledge. Monitor and track team performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions. Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure timely and accurate completion of maintenance tasks. Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to powerplant systems. Stay updated with industry developments and advancements in powerplant technology, and implement best practices in the team. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely availability of necessary equipment and parts. Participate in the recruitment and onboarding of new team members. Communicate effectively with team members, management, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and service delivery. Follow all company policies and procedures, and promote a culture of safety and excellence. Take ownership of any powerplant-related incidents or accidents and provide timely reports and recommendations for improvement.
