Our client, a retail distribution centre in Worcester, Western Cape, is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to maintain accurate inventory records. Duties include conducting stock counts, investigating discrepancies, processing goods in the warehouse management system, and ensuring stock is stored safely and in an organised manner for efficient picking. Responsibilities Monitor and report on KPIs including on-time delivery rates, inventory accuracy, warehouse throughput, and transport costs. Plan and coordinate transportation activities including route planning, load consolidation, carrier selection, and delivery scheduling. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, delivery shortfalls, damaged goods, and returns, implementing corrective actions. Ensure all logistics operations comply with health and safety regulations including safe operation of material handling equipment. Manage vehicle fleet maintenance and servicing schedule, ensuring all vehicles are serviced on time and kept roadworthy. Requirements Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements. A minimum of two to four years of experience in logistics, warehousing, transport, or supply chain operations. Good communication and interpersonal skills to build effective working relationships with internal teams and external providers. For warehouse supervisory roles, experience with material handling equipment including reach trucks and forklifts with valid licences. Knowledge of South African customs regulations, import and export procedures, and Incoterms for international logistics. Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced operational environment. Qualifications Diploma in Logistics or Supply Chain Management
