Job Summary: The Security Guard / Surveillance Officer is responsible for maintaining safety and order within the village premises. The role includes monitoring activities, ensuring the security of residents and property, and responding promptly to any suspicious or unsafe situations. Key Responsibilities: Monitor village entry and exit points, ensuring only authorized individuals and vehicles gain access. Conduct regular patrols around the village to deter unauthorized activities and identify any safety concerns. Keep constant surveillance using CCTV systems and report any unusual movement or incidents. Respond to alarms, emergencies, and security breaches in a timely and professional manner. Assist residents and visitors with inquiries related to security and access. Record daily observations, incidents, and patrol activities in the security logbook. Coordinate with supervisors, Facility Management Team, and law enforcement when needed. Ensure security equipment such as radios, CCTV, and alarms are functioning properly and report any issues. Follow all company security procedures, village guidelines, and safety protocols. Support other tasks assigned by the Security Supervisor or Management. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Security Guard or similar role. Physically fit and able to perform foot patrols. Basic knowledge of CCTV monitoring is an advantage. Good communication and observation skills. Ability to stay alert and calm in stressful situations. High school diploma or equivalent. Valid security license as required by local regulations.
