Risk Control works with clients in a variety of sectors, including Alcohol and Cannabis Retailers, Law Firms, Mining, Energy, Oil & Gas, Post-Secondary Institutions, Architectural Firms, Property Developers, and not-for-profit organizations. Risk Control is accepting new applications for the role of professional Security Guards at our client's facilities located in Northern Saskatchewan. These are rotational positions originating from the Saskatoon area. The rotation for this position is 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off, with 12 hour shifts daily. The wage range listed is for independent contractors, based on a daily rate of $264 to $360, working 12 hours per day, dependent upon experience. For those not interested in working as an independent contractor, an employee position may be considered at a lower rate. Please review the minimum qualifications listed below before applying. Only qualified applicants will be considered/contacted. Risk Control is seeking experienced security professionals to add to our team. This position will be responsible for professional frontline security at our client's facility. PRIMARY DUTIES Access Control: Monitor and control access to the site, ensuring only authorized personnel enter the premises. Patrols: Provide highly visible foot and vehicle patrols to deter and detect any suspicious activities. Incident Response: Respond promptly to unruly or undesired behavior, emergencies, alarms, and incidents, including medical, fire, and security breaches, and take appropriate action including contacting the police or appropriate emergency services. Reporting: Document daily activities, incidents, and irregularities, such as property damage, theft, unauthorized individuals, or unusual occurrences. Surveillance: Monitor surveillance equipment and perform video surveillance to ensure a secure environment. Conflict Resolution: Handle disputes or conflicts that arise on-site, de-escalating situations when necessary. QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS: Valid Security Licence (or ability to obtain Saskatchewan Security Licence) Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence with clean abstract First Aid & CPR Certification Ability to work rotational remote camp assignments Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to write clear and accurate incident reports Physically capable of conducting foot patrols and working extended shifts Ability to pass a criminal record check Reliable, professional, and able to work independently Previous industrial, camp, or mine site security experience Experience with access control, CCTV monitoring, and incident reporting CSTS, WHMIS, or other industrial safety certifications Experience driving in northern or winter conditions QUESTIONS ABOUT RISK CONTROL?
