Job Description Job Description Position Title: Cabin Cleaner Location: Hocking Hills State Park Cabins – Hocking Hills Lodge & Conference Center, Logan, OH Reports To: Housekeeping Manager Employment Type: Part-Time or Full-Time; Weekends and Holidays Required Position Summary: The Cabin Cleaner is responsible for ensuring a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for guests staying in the Hocking Hills State Park cabins. This position plays a key role in maintaining the lodge’s high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction by thoroughly cleaning cabins, restocking supplies, and reporting maintenance issues. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Clean and sanitize guest cabins including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas Make beds, change linens, and replace towels and amenities Dust, vacuum, mop floors, and clean windows and surfaces Remove trash and recyclables; ensure cabins are refreshed for new arrivals Inspect cabins for maintenance issues and report any damages or necessary repairs Replenish cleaning supplies and linens from storage areas Ensure outdoor entry areas and porches are swept and tidy Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures Maintain a positive and professional demeanor with guests and fellow team members Qualifications: Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not required – training provided Strong attention to detail and pride in a job well done Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently Reliable transportation and dependability Comfortable working in a physically active role (bending, lifting, walking, etc.) Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 30 lbs Frequent bending, stooping, walking, and standing for extended periods Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions when accessing cabins What We Offer: Competitive hourly wage Supportive team environment Employee discounts and perks Opportunities for advancement within Hocking Hills Lodge & Conference Center Hocking Hills Lodge and Conference Center located inside Hocking Hills State Park is seeking candidates for Housekeeping Attendant positions. This can be a part-time or full-time position depending on your availability! Hocking Hills Lodge and Conference Center is a brand new 81-room lodge with 40 cabins, a full-service restaurant/lounge, and banquet facilities to accommodate up to 200 guests.
