About The RoleAbout The Role: Security Officer Duties as a Security Officer: Act as the first point of contact with external agencies in response to incidents (Police, LFB, Local Authorities etc.) Patrolling and providing Security presence for prolonged periods of time covering our Central Boulevard and the Estate. Report Writing Reception Duties - Meeting and Greeting Ensure Health & Safety of staff and visitors Respond effectively to all alarm activations Any additional reasonable duties requested by operational management Identify suspicious persons, actions and report such circumstances Requirements as a Security Officer: SIA Licence and either Door Supervision/Security Guarding Licence Deliver excellent customer service Basic IT skills Demonstrate the ability to think and act quickly in emergencies or under pressure Have an ability to deliver succinct and clear verbal and written reports where necessary Maintain a high standard of personal presentation High standards of both punctuality and attendance in order to ensure team effectiveness and availability Work as part of a team Able to deal calmly and confidently with all demands from the public A new opportunity on the White City Place Campus, which has a high footfall. The position will consist of prolonged periods of standing externally to meet and greet, clients, occupiers and members of the public. A high visibility of Security is required on the Estate and the successful officer will have the responsibility of ensuring this is achieved.
