The role involves physical tasks such as loading and offloading, moving materials, keeping the work area clean, and assisting skilled workers as required. This entry-level position is ideal for someone who is physically fit and willing to learn. Responsibilities Feed raw materials into production machinery and remove finished products from the line for packing and dispatch. Report any safety hazards, damaged equipment, or product defects to the supervisor or team leader immediately. Sort and stack inventory, pallets, and containers neatly and safely to maximise storage space and prevent accidents. Follow all health and safety rules including wearing the required personal protective equipment at all times. Pick and pack orders accurately according to pick lists, ensuring that the correct items and quantities are selected. Requirements For warehouse roles, experience operating a forklift with a valid licence is highly desirable. A clear criminal record may be required depending on the nature of the workplace and client requirements. The ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions in English accurately. Previous general labour or warehouse experience is advantageous but not always required for entry-level positions. A Grade 10 or Grade 12 certificate is preferred though not always essential depending on the specific role.
