Position: Laser Machine Operator (CNC) – Manufacturing About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and reliable Laser Machine Operator with CNC experience to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining laser cutting machines to produce high-quality components in line with production requirements and quality standards.Key Responsibilities:Set up and operate laser cutting machines and CNC equipmentInterpret technical drawings and job specificationsEnsure accurate cutting, shaping, and finishing of materialsPerform routine machine maintenance and troubleshootingMonitor production processes and ensure quality standards are metMaintain a clean and safe working environmentWork closely with the production and quality teams to meet deadlinesMinimum Requirements:Proven experience operating laser cutting machinesCNC machining experience (essential)Ability to read and interpret engineering/technical drawingsStrong attention to detail and quality workmanshipBasic mechanical and troubleshooting skillsWillingness to work shifts and overtime when requiredAdvantageous:Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environmentKnowledge of different materials (e.g., steel, aluminium)Relevant technical qualification or certificationKey Competencies:Accuracy and attention to detailProblem-solving abilityTeamwork and communication skillsTime management and ability to meet deadlinesIBCO is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to Employment Equity.
