Job Overview This is an entry level Excavation & Utility Laborer position. The laborer provides support to the crew leader and crew in a wide range of tasks required to finish a job. We would like to see that you're a team player, but can also take on tasks independently as needed. Duties Assist in loading and unloading of equipment as necessary. Hand digging with shovels, post hole diggers, ect. Place conduit, pipe, and structures in trenches Handle and operate water pumps, various hand held equipment, and heavy equipment after you have been trained, evaluated, and proven competent to do so. Follow direction and help keep the project moving forward with a good attitude. Team work is expected. Wear appropriate PPE at all times. (safety glasses, proper work pants/shirt, steel toe work boots, approved hard hat when required, high vis vest/shirt, appropriate work gloves.) Many other construction/excavation related tasks Qualifications Valid drivers license and reliable transportation Able to pass pre employment drug test and random testing at employers will. Ability to make it to shop/job on time. Can tolerate the elements. (winter and summer) Ability to work Saturdays as need. (you will be informed by end of the day Wednesday if you are required to work the following Saturday) Motivated to work, ability to stand, walk, and work for 8-12hrs on a regular basis. Short cycles under physically demanding conditions. Ability to lift and carry 50lbs, and at least lift 100lbs Keep track of your time through our time keeping app. Keep cell phone use to a minimum while on the clock. Our work is primarily within 1.5 hours of our office in Circleville. You will be responsible to keep track of your time through an app called Clock Shark, or paper time sheets. There is a lot of opportunity to gain experience in the field at Dynahoe. You will perform many different tasks every week, and have many opportunities to learn and advance from our experienced workers and operators in a lot of difference areas of the excavation and utility field.
