Securiguard Services is looking for a permanent part time security guard for a commercial site located in Nepean, ON. At Securiguard, our mission is to make people feel safe. As a security professional, you’ll contribute to the safety to our stakeholders by enforcing provincial and municipal regulations, policies site policies and procedures, monitoring CCTV systems, controlling access to the site, reporting any hazards or security breaches, and responding to incidents. Requirements and Skills: Valid Ontario Security License Standard First AidLevel C CPR with AED 1 year of security experience, preferred Diploma/Degree in the field of security or law enforcement preferred i.e Justice Studies, Police Foundations, etc Excellent communicationreport writing skills Customer service experience is an asset Approaches a situation with a listening mindset and empathy Capable of standing and walking for a duration of up to 12 hours Ability to problem solve effectively using discretion and good judgment Shares and adheres to our values – REACH (Respect, Empathy, Accountability, Courtesy and Honesty) Pay rate: $20.55 Schedule: 24hrs per week, FridaySaturday overnights, 12am to 12pm.
