Expert Review
Stepping into the role of a Security Professional with Allied Universal can be rewarding, especially with a competitive pay of $21/hour. The Monday to Friday schedule allows for a balanced work-life, which many find appealing. However, the requirement for an active CA guard card can deter potential applicants not already certified.
The position emphasizes customer service while ensuring safety, which is crucial in various sectors including healthcare and education. While the job offers great benefits such as medical and retirement plans, the entry-level nature of the role may limit career advancement for some.
Expect a work environment that is both dynamic and collaborative, yet be mindful of the physical demands associated with residential patrol duties. This role doesn’t support remote work, requiring on-site presence at all times. For those with a passion for security and community service, this position could be a solid choice.
