Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $15.58 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeThur03:00 PM - 11:30 PMFri03:00 PM - 11:30 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entry points, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access to restricted and patient care areas, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations. Support Allied Universal protocols by completing assigned reports, maintaining a visible presence, and assisting with directions and general assistance in a professional manner. Minimum Requirements: Possess 1 or more years of security-related experience. Be able to lift up to 20 pounds, preferred. Possess a state, county, or city issued security-related license, preferred. Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred. Possess a guard card or license, preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
