Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.36 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon05:00 PM - 02:00 AMTue05:00 PM - 02:00 AMWed05:00 PM - 02:00 AMThur05:00 PM - 02:00 AMFri05:00 PM - 02:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or public agency personnel as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, administrative areas, parking areas, transit access points, and perimeter locations, noting unusual activity and reporting security-related concerns. Monitor entry and exit activity, observe public areas, and help to deter unauthorized access, disruptions, and/or policy violations through visible presence and routine interaction. Support day-to-day location operations by providing directions, assisting with crowd and/or pedestrian flow, and reporting hazards, maintenance issues, and/or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
