Introduction Medium sized accounting, assurance and tax firm in Brackenfell, Western Cape registered as a SAIPA learning centre, wishes to appoint an accountant/experienced clerk in their bookkeeping/accounting department Duties & Responsibilities Bookkeeping, payroll, statutory tax calculation and submission. The position could later develop to compilation of annual financial statements and assistance with independent reviews, while also managing a portfolio of accounting clients Desired Experience & Qualification Possess an acumen for numbers Good understanding of accounting and bookkeeping Matric Certificate with mathematics Have obtained or is in process of obtaining an accounting or tax qualification as prescribed by SAIPA Previous experience in an accounting firm Good communication abilities with professional etiquette and skills Experience on accounting and payroll systems (Sage, Xero, SimplePay, VIP) would be to your advantage Package & Remuneration Package is dependent on experience, qualification and ability.
