Job description Job Overview: REA South Africa is seeking a skilled and motivated Technician to join our Eastern Cape team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and support of our technical solutions at client sites. This role involves working closely with the operations and sales teams to ensure efficient service delivery, resolve technical issues, and uphold the highest standards of customer satisfaction. A strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving and communication skills are essential for success in this position. Key Responsibilities & Duties ▪ Repairing, servicing, and maintaining new and existing clients installations at our clients. ▪ Training our clients' operators, artisans, maintenance, and production teams to get the best out of our products and solutions. ▪ Identifying, owning, and tracking any issues with the client, working with your manager and colleagues, to reach a satisfactory resolution for the client. ▪ Improve customer satisfaction by delivering the highest customer service in our industry. ▪ Create and grow multiple aspects of our business through the support of regional and company goals. ▪ Maintaining stock levels and performing stock takes for your area. ▪ Keeps team informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports (scrums), weekly work plans (Technical Team Leader), and monthly and annual territory analyses (Management and Germany). ▪ Maintain a strong understanding of the technical aspects of our equipment and solutions. ▪ Managing calendar and projects on existing platforms ▪ Maintain rapport with clients by examining complaints, identifying solutions, recommending process and system improvements. ▪ Installing of equipment from time to time ▪ Managing client relationship when a technical issue is escalated and work with the technical team leader in problem solving. ▪ Maintain client confidence by keeping client information confidential, respect NDA’s. ▪ Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading and understanding internal publications, taking part in training sessions with Germany ▪ Follow all necessary safety protocols at our premises and as required when visiting customer sites. ▪ Local and international travel from time to time as needed. ▪ Any other reasonable ad-hoc duties not listed when required by Management.
