Job Title: Senior Reporting and Analytics Accountant Start Date: January 2026 Industry: Oil and Gas Job Purpose: To lead and oversee the reporting and analytics function across multi-entity and multi-currency environments within the oil and gas sector. The incumbent will be responsible for managing the preparation, consolidation, and analysis of financial results, ensuring compliance with internal, local (Blendcore/SAFREF), and global (FCC (SA)) reporting standards. The role demands strategic insight, technical expertise, and leadership in driving process efficiency, financial accuracy, and data-driven decision-making. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage all aspects of financial reporting, including multi-currency consolidations and reconciliations. Oversee and review complex local and group reporting (Blendcore/SAFREF, FCC (SA), and global submissions) ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness. Drive the forecasting and budgeting process, ensuring alignment between financial and operational objectives. Interpret and communicate financial results, variances, and performance trends to executive management. Ensure compliance with IFRS, company policies, and global reporting frameworks. Manage ERP financial processes, including bank reconciliations, system postings, and integration improvements. Lead audit preparations and support both internal and external audit requirements. Partner with cross-functional and international teams to standardize reporting and enhance data quality. Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements to strengthen financial governance and analytical capability. Mentor and guide junior and intermediate analysts, fostering professional growth and strong reporting discipline. Key Skills and Competencies: Deep knowledge of financial accounting, IFRS, and group consolidation principles. Strong understanding of oil and gas sector reporting standards and multi-currency environments. Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP or similar) and reporting tools. Exceptional analytical and interpretation skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights. Proven ability to lead and manage teams effectively. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to engage at executive level. Continuous improvement mindset and ability to drive automation and process optimization Experience and Education: 6 – 12 years of progressive experience in financial reporting, analytics, or group consolidation, ideally in the oil and gas industry. Registered Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)). Demonstrated experience with Blendcore/SAFREF, FCC (SA), or global reporting systems. Proven track record in managing reporting teams and improving financial reporting processes.

6 – 12 years of progressive experience in financial reporting, analytics, or group consolidation, ideally in the oil and gas industry. Registered Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)). Demonstrated experience with Blendcore/SAFREF, FCC (SA), or global reporting systems.

Proven track record in managing reporting teams and improving financial reporting processes.
