Introduction To receive, dispatch, verify and maintain stock and goods. Keep records of all incoming and outgoing goods. Duties & Responsibilities Arrange clearance and collection of all stock and jobs Overseeing scheduling, staging, tracking and reporting of the day’s activities Procurement of stock for all entities for production, responsible for ensuring accuracy of orders received Issue purchase orders for all stock ordered Arranging internal distribution of goods/stock received Arranging external couriers and waybills and other means of transport for certain jobs Apply thorough stock control consistently internally as well as with receiving and dispatch, maintain and manage acceptable stock levels at all times Organizing the dispatch of goods with completed documentation and job cards Ensuring scanning system is up to date Cancellation of double scan sheets Maintain prescribed records of goods received and dispatched Providing information to suppliers on tariffs, be able to negotiate with suppliers for better prices Implement and manage a stock control system with regular stock taking of all goods in the department. Stock must be reconciled on a weekly basis Collate purchase orders and purchase requisitions to ordered materials, goods and supplies Obtain supplier prices to update Group prices Controlling all maintenance on fleet vehicles including the forklifts Arranging and monitoring all production orientated outsourcing to suppliers Monitoring production within the Group Assisting with client queries and job tracking Manages the driver and the storeroom assistant Review inventories, orders and deliveries Order and administration on all imported goods and machinery, liaise with Nedbank on all import payments and documentation needed. Desired Experience & Qualification National Senior Certificate (Matric) At least 5 years stock control experience (Factory / Manufacturing, etc. environment) PC Proficiency Valid drivers license Good customer and negotiation skills Good organizational skills Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Afrikaans This position requires an ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment, communicate information clearly, and keep a constant focus on the work Must be able to perform well in a team Must be able to work under pressure This position may require availability before and after hours Package & Remuneration R15 000.00 - R25 000.00 CTC (no additional benefits)
