We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Laborer to join our team in the heavy civil construction industry. As a Laborer, you will perform a variety of tasks to support construction operations, including physical labor and assisting in the safe execution of tasks on the job site. Your role will require lifting and moving materials, operating hand tools, and ensuring that all safety guidelines are followed. Key Responsibilities: Assist in loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials and equipment.Perform manual labor tasks, such as digging, lifting, carrying, and moving materials.Operate hand tools (e.g., shovels, rakes, sledgehammers, and drills) safely and effectively.Clear construction sites by removing debris and hazardous materials.Assist with the setup and breakdown of temporary structures and barriers.Work in a team environment to support all construction activities.Adhere to all safety regulations, including wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).Maintain and clean equipment and tools after use.Report to supervisors and follow instructions for daily work assignments.Minimum Qualifications: Previous experience in construction or labor-related work is preferred but not required.Must be able to follow safety procedures and protocols.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.Transportation or other means to arrive to jobsites around the greater Boston area.
