The HR Director is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of human resources functions within the organisation. This role plays a critical part in shaping the company's people strategy, driving organisational development, and ensuring that HR practices align with overall business objectives. The HR Director will lead initiatives that attract, develop, and retain top talent while fostering a positive, high-performance workplace culture. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies that support the organisation's long-term goals Lead workforce planning, recruitment, and talent acquisition to ensure the organisation attracts high-quality candidates Oversee onboarding processes to ensure a smooth and effective integration of new employees Manage employee relations, providing guidance and resolving complex workplace issues in a fair and consistent manner Drive performance management systems, including appraisals, goal setting, and continuous feedback processes Design and implement learning and development programmes to enhance employee skills and career growth Oversee compensation and benefits structures to ensure competitiveness and fairness Ensure full compliance with labour laws, regulations, and internal policies Lead diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to promote an inclusive workplace Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, and best practices Monitor HR metrics and analytics to inform decision-making and improve performance Collaborate with senior leadership to align HR initiatives with business strategy Lead, mentor, and develop the HR team to ensure high performance and professional growth Promote a strong organisational culture that reflects company values and enhances employee engagement Requirements: Extensive experience in a senior HR leadership role (HR Manager, HR Business Partner, or similar) Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labour legislation, and compliance requirements Proven leadership and team management skills Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution abilities Strategic thinker with strong decision-making and problem-solving skills Experience in organisational development and change management Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret HR data and trends Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree is an advantage) Key Competencies: Leadership and strategic vision Emotional intelligence and relationship management Adaptability and resilience High level of professionalism and integrity Strong organisational and time management skills
