Key Responsibilities and Duties: Patrol and Inspection: Regularly walk or drive around the premises to identify risks, checking doors, windows, and gates for security. Surveillance: Monitor CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and video feeds to detect unauthorized access or suspicious activity. Access Control: Manage building entry/exit, verify visitor credentials, and maintain visitor logs. Emergency Response: Promptly act during emergencies, disturbances, or safety hazards (fire, medical), and liaise with emergency services. Reporting: Document daily activities, security breaches, and incidents in detailed reports for management or law enforcement. Deterrence & Safety: Maintain a visible security presence to deter criminal activity and ensure the safety of employees and visitors. Requirements and Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Licensure: Valid state-issued security guard license or registration. Skills: Strong communication, observation, surveillance skills, and ability to use security equipment. Physicality: Physical fitness for standing/walking for long periods.
