As a Tactical Security Guard, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as Government Buildings, Sports Facilities, Retail Environments, Secure Facilities, etc. Shift Timings:10:00-18:00 Monday to Friday Location: L8P 4Y7 Pay Rate: $25/hr after probation ($23/hr - pobation, $18.35/hr initial training dates)What's in it for you? Hourly wage of $25.00 after probation We will invest in you, covering the costs of continuing education through GardaWorld Academy Flexible schedules with various shifts available Career growth opportunities at GardaWorld Full-time & part-time opportunities Uniform provided at no cost Responsibilities for a Tactical Security Guard Patrol critical areas to spot any suspicious activity Check identification and control access to secure areas React quickly to threats or incidents and document actions taken Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras Handle alarms and conduct on-site checks Partner with law enforcement during serious incidents Community outreach with vulnerable populations Enforcement of the Trespass to Property Act Qualifications for a Tactical Security Guard Be authorized to work in Canada Hold a valid security license First aid certification Ability to stand and walk throughout shift Able to pass an Advanced Use of Force Training Course Knowledge of the Trespass to Property Act and Powers of Arrest This could be more than a job!
