Warehouse Operatives are responsible for efficiently picking, packing, and preparing customer orders while maintaining high standards of accuracy, quality, and timeliness. The role includes locating stock, checking items against order lists, and ensuring products are securely loaded for dispatch according to loading plans provided by the transport team. Operatives also manage goods-in processes by unloading deliveries, inspecting stock for quality and accuracy, and replenishing inventory. Your Responsibilities Will Include: Picking and packing goods for delivery to customers efficiently, meeting target pick rates while ensuring all items are accurate and ready for dispatch.Wrapping completed pallets securely and pre-packing goods for later pick as required.Organising the warehouse so that everything is in its correct location i.e. storing newer stock behind older stock to ensure they get picked first, ready for efficient picking and loading.Checking the quality of all goods in and alerting the office to any items that need rejecting.Ensuring accuracy in all aspects of documentation, such as adding items to the TBL list and labelling boxes.Bringing in all deliveries, checking accuracy of items received, and signing off paperwork.Loading and unloading goods using manual or mechanical handling equipment, such as pallet trucks and forklifts (if qualified), while adhering to safety procedures.Reporting any equipment faults or safety concerns to management immediately.Carrying out stock counts (for nights) and maintaining accurate inventory records by updating warehouse management systems and completing relevant paperwork.Desirable experience/qualifications: Counterbalance FLT Certification (Required)Exceptional attention to detail to maintain our quality standardsA strong work ethic and commitment to excellenceExcellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a teamYour Shift Pattern: One of three shifts - Night Shift: Night shift: 10pm to 6.30am, working 5 days per week over Monday to Sunday with Saturday nights off typicallyJoin us in our mission to deliver freshness and quality to our customers!
