As a security professional, you’ll play a key part in protecting clients and supporting some of the biggest brands in the industry. Hourly wage of $16.60 Per hour We will invest in you, covering the costs of continuing education through GardaWorld Academy Permanent Position : Monday to Wednesday 1500-2200 Career growth opportunities at GardaWorld Uniform provided at no cost Responsibilities for Office Building Security Guard Record all events in the Logbook Assist site staff and visitors to ensure safe and secure environment. Respond to incident for Tenants if required Engage in visible deterrence through their presence and adhering to security procedures Site patrol, locking and unlocking building, investigating and reporting incidents and hazards. Protect the client's assets relative to theft, assault, fire, and other safety issues. Respond to various emergencies, such as fires, medical incidents, or security breaches Take actions during emergency situations as per Garda world and USB protocols Performing environmental checks – water leaks, excessive air flow, unusual noises e.t.c Complete Daily reports and Incident Reports. Qualifications for Office Building Security Guard Good verbal and written communication skills Previous experience in the security industry (asset) Valid Manitoba Security Guard license Customer service oriented Must be able to work Afternoon shifts Leadership and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a stressful environment This could be more than a job!
