Customer Support Coordinator
BUILDING MATERIALS WHOLESALE LTD
Mon-Fri, 8:00am-5:00pm Full-time, Permanent This is not a standard customer service role. You'll be joining Brick Wholesale - one of the UK's leading online brick suppliers, selling to trade customers and developers nationwide. Bricks are a more complex product than most - different types, formats, suppliers, lead times, and delivery constraints - which means this role is a genuine mix of customer support, order management, logistics coordination, and problem-solving. You'll own the full order journey from start to finish. That means processing orders, selecting the right suppliers, coordinating deliveries, resolving issues, and handling after-sales - all running simultaneously, every day. The store opens at 8:00 am sharp. We expect everyone to be at their desk and ready before the doors open. What You'll Be Doing: Responding to customer post-sale enquiries - delivery updates, ETAs, order changes Processing sales orders, purchase orders, and credit notes Selecting the most suitable brick suppliers based on price, availability, and lead time Coordinating deliveries and solving logistical challenges - access restrictions, timing, failed deliveries Liaising with suppliers to manage orders and chase ETAs Handling customer complaints - late, wrong, or damaged deliveries Amending orders when customers request changes after purchase Replying to customer reviews Assisting with supplier invoice discrepancies Maintaining accurate records across all systems Order volume: 5–15 per day. Low volume - but each order involves real decision-making, supplier selection, and coordination. This is not a processing role. What We're Looking For: Clear, professional written and verbal communication Strong organisation - you stay on top of multiple tasks without dropping things Comfortable with numbers - pricing, supplier costs, credit notes Confident across systems - you use tools to stay organised, not avoid them Self-directed - you manage your own workload without constant direction Calm under pressure - when priorities shift, you adapt rather than freeze Ownership mindset - you see something through to resolution, not to the next person's desk. Systems You'll Use Daily: HubSpot (CRM) Monday.com (workflow management) Xero (accounting) Confidence across multiple systems is non-negotiable. You don't need to know these tools on day one - but you need to pick them up quickly and use them properly. This Role Is Not For You If: You prefer highly repetitive tasks or step-by-step instructions for everything You rely on close supervision to stay on track You're uncomfortable working across multiple systems simultaneously You find it difficult to adapt when priorities change mid-day You left your last role because there was no growth opportunity, without being able to explain what you did to pursue it yourself. What We Offer: £30,030 salary 28 days holiday including bank holidays Extra day off on your birthday Company pension Free on-site parking Structured onboarding on our systems and products Monday to Friday - no weekends A direct, down-to-earth team in a fast-growing business About Us: We're Building Materials Wholesale - a fast-growing group of specialist online stores supplying building materials across the UK.
