This is done through various services, including: Food ServicesHousekeeping ServicesConference and Events ServicesCentral Cleaning ServicesMail Room ServicesJanitorial Services Main Objectives The main objective of this job is to assist the Manager: Housekeeping Services with the management and the administration of the Housekeeping Services department to ensure the delivery of a high standard of service to Rhodes University. The Requirements A relevant degree/diploma (NQF Level 7), preferably in Hospitality Management with approximately 4 years’ relevant experience, where such experience includes: - Previous experience in Hospitality Management and experience working in a hospitality service- related environment where the key focus has been on the planning and organization of servicePrevious administrative experience within a computerized administration environment.At least 3 years’ experience supervising and/or managing staff.A valid driver’s license.Previous experience and/or knowledge of cleaning and quality methodologies.Previous experience in stock control.Application Process It is essential that prospective candidates read the job profile for further information and ensure that all relevant documentation is submitted.
