A well-known petrol station in Randburg is seeking a Senior Manager to take charge of operations, ensure compliance, and drive business growth. Minimum Requirements: Proven experience in a senior management role within a fuel retail environment. Experience managing a petrol station is essential. (Engen will be highly advantageous) Strong financial acumen and experience managing cash transactions. Understanding of HSEQ regulations and ability to meet audit standards. Experience with back-office systems for fuel retail operations. Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and customer service skills. Previous experience at a major fuel brand (e.g., BP, Shell, Caltex, Astron, etc.) is advantageous. Duties and Responsibilities: Uphold and enhance operational standards as set by the Oil Company. Ensure Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) compliance with zero tolerance for unsafe work practices. Provide exceptional customer service, fostering strong customer relationships. Manage wet stock in accordance with industry best practices. Submit required reports and data within set timelines. Identify and implement growth strategies to enhance business performance. Oversee staff management, including scheduling, performance, motivation, and disciplinary actions. Develop and execute local marketing initiatives to boost revenue. Maintain strict stock control, including monthly stock takes. Actively manage profit margins for the convenience store. Drive innovation to improve customer experience and operational efficiency. Ensure adherence to budget and sales targets. Present weekly management reports to the Retailer on business performance.
